Rosie was one of three pups I kept from the
breeding of Woody to Eve. She was the one I really did not intend to
keep. But the more I looked at her the more I liked her physically. If
she were a Lab she would be described as Fox-red in color. She is small
, about 65#, but incredibly strong. Her rear movement is beautiful, OFA
rated her hip structure as excellent. Woody was of course the best
dog I have ever owned or likely will ever own. Eve was one of my
experiments in crossing show and field lines. Her sire was the good
show dog CH Redlion Come Back Hank WDQ. Her dam was Stillwaters
Ironwood Storm WD, a bitch of Caroway field breeding. So Rosie and her
siblings represent a line breeding to Chesdel Chief with an outcross
strain from Hank. To come full circle, Chief was the son of Fireweed's
Jasmine , a Surf Breaker daughter.
